Wallpaper.

In the early 1950's the childrens room at carpenter Svend Larsen in Langeskov was papered with Kay Bojesen's wallpaper. When the family in the 1960's build a new villa next to the factory, the former residential areas was incorporated into the production. Most likely at that time the room was painted - they paintede over this beautifull wallpaper :) - but they didn't bother paiting behind a large cupboard. When I a few years ago told Svend Larsen's son, Kaj Høffer, that I had just bought a magazine add for Valo (European detergent brand) in which a piece of wallpaper was shown he laughed and said: "I have a piece of such wallpaper". When the factory was closed in 2008 I was allowed to cut out the wallpaper and split it into 3 pieces, one to Kaj Høffer one to another collector and a piece for my self. The wallpaper is marked by times gone by and can not be removed from the piece of cellutex wall. But because of it's history and the fact that it was rescued at the last minute it has a very special meaning to me.
